SLIDING GRILLES
The Extendor® range of security grilles have been developed to meet the requirements of a wide range of users – from those who simply want an effective deterrent to people with serious concerns about protecting their valuable assets and family.
The comprehensive Extendor® range, along with a variety of options and the bespoke design service, means that solutions can be successfully developed for almost any physical security issues.
Commercial Grille
Diamond range:
Designed with a high quality aesthetic appearance to visually blend with the surroundings. An excellent deterrent and good physical protection.
Available in a soft white finish, but can be supplied in any colour to suit customers’ individual requirements.
Classic:
Designed for more vulnerable areas, the Classic provides good resistance to attack and coupled with an alarm system offers a high level of protection.
As with all Extendor® products, the Classic can be easily opened during working hours, making the grille unobtrusive.
Elite:
For higher levels of security, Elite provides an excellent level of protection. Hardened steel elements provide extra resistance to hacksaw or drill attacks and multi point locking is fitted as standard This provides an extra safety benefit because the grille can also be locked in the open position.
Elite is the preferred solution for many people with valuable items to protect and has been approved by the official police security initiative – Secured By Design (SBD). The police preferred SBD products are recommended by the Association of British Insurers (ABI)
Eclipse **
The top of the Extendor® range Eclipse grille system has been especially developed to meet the modern day security needs of those who feel that their home and family could be at risk.
In addition to its accredited protection properties the Eclipse still retains the smooth action and user-friendly features of all Extendor® products, together with a high quality aesthetic finish.

Lock Options
All locks are fully enclosed and protected by the aluminium profiles.
Single Hook:
The single hook lock is the basic locking method for the Diamond and Classic grilles. Security is considerably enhancedwith the use of multi-point (shoot bolt) locks.
Multi Point:
The lock consists of a single hookplus two shoot bolts which engage through the headrail and track into the building structure. The three point lock provides the added benefit of being able to lock the retracted grid (stack) in the open position
Flush Bolt:
Flush bolts are used in double grid or multi grid units together with three point locks. The bolts are fitted at the top and bottom of the stile strike profiles.
Cylinders:
Euro profile cylinders are fitted as standard across the range of grilles. Double cylinders are also available. All cylinders (double and single) can be keyed alike.
Electro-Magnetic:
Electric magnetic locks can be used for access control in conjunction with key pad/swipe card systems. When used as protection over fire escapes the electro magnetic lock can be connected to the fire alarm so that it releases immediately the fire alarm is activated.
